To us women, the male species is confusing, to say the least. It’s frustrating to never know what your other half is thinking, let alone what they mean. If you’re one of the countless women who is completely in the dark as to how their man really feels about them, here are five ways he may express his feelings- and saying “I love you” isn’t one of them!

He Can’t Keep His Eyes Off You

You’ve heard the phrase "the apple of my eye". Corny? Yes, but there’s a few grains of truth in it. By maintaining eye contact, he is silently saying that you are the main thing on his mind, and he wants to check that you’re fine. Either that, or he can’t wait to get you home.

You’ve Met His Friends

Introducing you to his friends is more momentous than it first appears. Women tend to introduce any love interest to their friends, but men tend to be more selective with who they bring into their group. It’s his subtle way of preparing the guys for the moment of truth - he’s ready to put down roots.

He Doesn’t Complain (Too Much!)

By sitting patiently while you try on all your outfits (and inevitably settle for the very first one you tried on), your man is showing that he believes you are worth waiting for, no matter how long you take. Be warned though, if you spend three hours in the bath even the most committed boyfriend will have fallen asleep. Or found the football.

He Cancels Nights Out With The Lads

Saturday night with the guys is something of a ritual for most men. They rarely pass up the chance to get together with the guys and down pints - unless they get a better offer. You, in other words. When he starts finding reasons to stay in with you, you know he’s fallen hook, line and sinker for you.

He Spoils You

We all know it’s the little things that make a big impression - offering to make you cups of tea, breakfast in bed, romantic gifts. By thinking of your needs, he’s demonstrating that he worries about how you’re feeling.
